Ripu Sudan Singh

Ripu Sudan Singh is Professor of Political Science at Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Central University, Lucknow. He secured his M.A, M. Phil and Ph.D. from the School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. Prof. Singh specialises in West Asian politics and has an acumen for learning and rediscovering theories and thoughts in Humanities and Social Sciences. He has keen observation on global politics and society. He has published with several popular journals and has presented research papers at International Conferences in Australia, Poland, Norway, Bangladesh etc. He has also travelled to United Kingdom and France for his field study and research work. Besides his academic work, he has a long administrative and organisational experience at the University level such as Head, Department of Sanskrit, Head, Department of Political Science, Head, Department of Public Administration, Dean, Ambedkar School for Social Sciences, Dean, School of Education, Dean, School of Languages & Literature, Dean of Student Welfare (DSW), Advisor & Ex- Co-Ordinator, Department of Hindi, Hindi Officerand Controller of Examinations. He has been member to the Board of Management (E.C), member in Academic Council, member in Planning Board, Member, Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship, UGC, New Delhi and member of the Society Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Institute of Asian Studies, Kolkata (MAKAIAS), nominated by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India for a period of five years. Also, he has been associated with the School of International Studies, JNU as a member of the School Board, member in the DRC and BPGS of the Department of Political Science in Kumaon University, Nainital, member in DRC in Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi, member DRC Guru Ghansi Das Central University, Raipur, Bundelkhand University, Jhansi, MG Kashi Vidhyapeeth, Varanasi, Integral University, Lucknow and MC Language University, Lucknow. Also, he was long associated with NCC in the rank of Captain and a field correspondence of Nav Bharat Times, New Delhi.

 

Prof Harish K. Thakur

Prof Harish K. Thakur is the Chairman, Department of Defence & Strategic Studies and Director at the Centre for Canadian Studies, Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla-171005. He is also a former Chairman of the Department of Political science, Himachal Pradesh University. Currently Professor Thakur is also the Editor of Himachal Pradesh University Journal. He has so far authored over 15 books and has immensely contributed articles to reputed national and international journals. His area of specialisation is foreign policy and tribal studies

Dr. Siddhartha Mukerji

I am Dr. Siddhartha Mukerji working as assistant professor at Department of Political Science, Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow since November 2008. I have completed my undergrad from University of Delhi , and M.A, M.Phil and PhD in political science from JNU, New Delhi. I am a UGC/JRF/NET qualifier. I have published articles in UGC- Care listed, Scopus and Peer Reviewed Journals like Economic and Political Weekly; Indian Journal of Gender Studies: Sage Publications; Indian Journal of Public Administration: Sage Publications; Studies in Indian Politics: Sage Publications; IASSI Quarterly; Journal of Indian School of Political Economy; The Book Review Journal; GNLU Journal of Law, Development and Politics; Indian Journal of Politics; Political Discourse; Voice of Dalit; and Indian Journal of Political Science. I have written a book entitled India’s Software Industry: Politics, Institutions and Policy Shifts (2018) published by Atlantic Publishers, New Delhi. I have written several chapters in edited books which are published by Routledge: Taylor and Francis; Springer: Singapore; Rawat Publication; IGNOU and Concept Publishing Company. My International Projects include a project on “Real Estate Sector and Rural Migration: A Study of Lucknow” in collaboration between BBAU, Lucknow and Stockholm University, Sweden; and IndiaEurope EECURI (Explaining Electoral Change in Urban and Rural India) Project with London School of Economics and Political Science; Science Po (Paris); King’s Indian Institute, King’s College, London and Jawaharlal Nehru University (New Delhi) as key partners. I am recipient of Baden Wurttemberg Fellowship, South Asia Institute, University of Heidelberg, Germany (21 November 2016- 31 January 2017). I have presented papers at King’s College, London; London School of Economics and Political Science; JNU, New Delhi; Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi and BHU, Varanasi.
