Abstract

Migration is an expression of the human aspiration for dignity, safety and a better future . It is part of the social fabric, part of our very make-up as a human family. Migration is an expression of the human aspiration for dignity a way to move from one place to another in order to live and work. There are many reasons to migrate from one place to another. Movement of people from their home to another city, shelter or some other reasons is called Migration. There are two types of migration: Internal and International. Internal migration or interstate migration takes place within a country while international is cross border migration. Adversely migrants are pulled into the destinations that are pulled into the destinations that are offer comparatively high wages and employment opportunities and better living standards. Social safety nets should have a special focus on the interstate migrant workers who are the poorest and most vulnerable.
